Projects started or in process during 2009

The Blessed Sacrament Oratory Restoration and Conservation Project is well under way and the facade is almost completed, apart from the lower part where the concrete covering has to be removed and replaced with hydraulic lime plaster.

Presently the North side and the roof are being restored.

Nazju Falzon Youth Centre had to have a major overhaul as some of the roofs were caving in and the electrical installation left much to be desired.

Therefore the Parish took care to renovate this Centre and it is almost completed and it is expected that it will be used again for the first time on 1st july commemotrting the Feast of Beatu Nazju Falzon.

During the last weeks work has been going on on the renovation and enlargement of the Parish Administration Office. The work is expected to be completed in few weeks time.

The major project of the Restoration and Conservation of the Parish Church has made a step forward with the erection of the Scaffolding on part of the South Facade. It is hoped that the Parish will be in a position to start actual work this summer.
